Civil Celebrants of Marriages
Marriage can be celebrated in Hong Kong at a marriage registry by a Registrar or at a licensed place of worship by a competent minister. In addition, since the Marriage (Introduction of Civil Celebrants of Marriages and General Amendments) Ordinance has come into operation in Hong Kong on 13 March 2006, marriages can also be celebrated by a Civil Celebrant of Marriages.
